1917 Kenedy County Courthouse Preservation – Sarita, Texas

The Kenedy County Courthouse highlights our structural repair and masonry replication capabilities in this complete restoration project. All of the exterior steel lintels and brick ties, as well as the concrete frame reinforcing bars, were either severely rusting or completely deteriorated leaving the structural integrity at high risk. The entire exterior brick veneer was disassembled. Many concrete beams and columns were opened to fully repair the integrity of the building. The building was fully restored to its 1918 historic appearance while installing all new state of the art MEP systems. Restoration features include paint, colorful replicated carpet, shellacked finishes, restored fireplaces, conserved vault doors and safes
